When you use MockGen, we collect:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile photo provided via Google OAuth login.
• Resume Content: Text extracted from your uploaded resume files (PDF, DOCX) for AI analysis.
• Resume Files: Uploaded files are stored securely in Firebase Storage, accessible only by you.
• Usage Data: Number of analyses and interview sessions used per month to enforce plan limits.
• Payment Information: Transaction IDs and plan details processed via Razorpay. We never store your card or UPI details.

• To provide AI-powered resume analysis, cover letter generation, and mock interview features.
• To authenticate your identity and maintain your account securely.
• To track your monthly usage and enforce subscription plan limits.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Razorpay.
• To monitor platform performance and improve service reliability. Your personal data and resume content are never used to train AI models.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore + Storage), hosted in a secure, encrypted environment.

• Resume files are stored privately — only you can access your own files.
• Firestore security rules ensure users cannot access each other's data.
• All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• AI processing (via our AI provider, Groq) is done server-side. Your resume text is never stored beyond the processing window.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database storage, and file storage.
• Groq: Resume text is sent for AI analysis. Processing is subject to Groq's usage policies.
• Razorpay: For payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.

• Access: You can view all your data from your Dashboard and History pages.
• Delete: You can delete individual analyses from your History page. To delete your account and all data, contact us.
• Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
• Opt-out: You can stop using the service at any time.

We use Firebase Authentication cookies for session management only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

MockGen is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of MockGen constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
